When to Use

Apply HPM Dollar 4G when pest infestation is first noticed or as a preventive measure during vulnerable crop stages. For paddy, apply during the early vegetative stage when stem borers and leaf folders begin to appear. Look for signs such as dead hearts (dried central shoots) caused by stem borers or folded leaves caused by leaf folders. For sugarcane, apply at the early shoot stage to control shoot borer. For vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, brinjal, and chilli, apply when caterpillars or borers are first observed. The product is effective at almost any stage of pest development, but early application before pest populations become severe gives the best results. Since the granules release the active ingredient gradually, one timely application can protect the crop through critical growth periods.

Step by Step Usage Instructions

1. Identify pest infestation in the field by looking for damage symptoms such as dead hearts, folded leaves, or bore holes.
2. Ensure the field has standing water (for paddy) or sufficient moisture (for other crops) to help dissolve and distribute the granules.
3. Measure the required quantity — use 10 kg of Dollar 4G per acre.
4. Wear gloves while handling the granules to avoid direct skin contact.
5. Broadcast the granules evenly across the entire field by hand or using a granule applicator.
6. For paddy, ensure the granules fall into the water so they can dissolve and be absorbed by plant roots.
7. After application, maintain normal irrigation practices. Do not drain the field immediately.
