Recommended Dosage & Application

When to Use

For best results, apply HPM Heera Plus as a basal dose at the time of sowing or planting. This ensures that micronutrients are available in the root zone from the very beginning of crop growth. If basal application is not possible, apply within 10 to 15 days of transplanting for transplanted crops like paddy. For fruit trees and perennial horticulture crops, apply in a ring around the root zone during the early growth stages or just before the flowering period. Since the granules release nutrients slowly, early application helps the crop benefit throughout the vegetative and reproductive stages. Avoid applying very late in the season when the crop has already passed its active growth phase.

Step by Step Usage Instructions

1. Calculate the dose: Measure the required quantity of Heera Plus granules based on your crop and acreage using the dosage table above.
2. Prepare for application: Wear gloves, a mask, and protective clothing while handling the product. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
3. Mix with other fertilizers (optional): Heera Plus is compatible with Urea and DAP. If mixing, broadcast the mixture immediately after mixing. Do not store the mixed fertilizer overnight as it may become sticky due to moisture absorption.
4. Broadcast uniformly: Spread the granules evenly across the entire field. For row crops, ensure uniform distribution along the rows. For fruit trees, apply the granules in a ring around the root zone, about 15-30 cm away from the trunk.
5. Cover with soil (optional): Lightly mix the granules into the topsoil if possible, or irrigate lightly after application to help the granules settle and start releasing nutrients.
6. Store remaining product: Seal the bag tightly after use and store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Compatibility

HPM Heera Plus granules are compatible with Urea and DAP for mixing and broadcasting. However, once mixed with these fertilizers, apply immediately to prevent the mixture from becoming sticky and difficult to spread evenly.
