Multiplex Super Yodha is a broad-spectrum insecticide and miticide from Multiplex, formulated with Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC. It works through both contact and stomach action, making it highly effective against major chewing and sucking pests such as bollworms, fruit and shoot borers, leaf folders, pod borers, stem borers, thrips, and mites. The product belongs to the Avermectin chemical group and acts as a Glutamate-gated chloride channel (GluCl) allosteric modulator under IRAC group 6.

Super Yodha is designed for use across a wide range of crops including cotton, paddy (rice), chili, brinjal, tomato, okra, cabbage, cauliflower, soybean, groundnut, red gram, chickpea, green gram, black gram, sugarcane, mustard, tea, and grapes. It is especially valuable when larvae of bollworm, stem borer, DBM (diamondback moth), leaf folder, fruit and shoot borer, pod borer, thrips, and mites are first observed in the field. By controlling these pests early, the product helps reduce crop damage, supports healthy growth, and improves overall yield potential.

The product is available in convenient pack sizes of 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, and 1 litre, making it suitable for both small and large farm operations. It is a low-toxic, eco-friendly option for integrated pest management programs.

Key Benefits

  • Broad-spectrum control of chewing and sucking pests including bollworms, borers, leaf folders, thrips, and mites in one application.
  • Dual contact and stomach action ensures pests are controlled on contact and when they ingest treated plant parts.
  • Quick knockdown effect — affected larvae become paralyzed and stop feeding shortly after exposure, reducing further crop damage.
  • Long-lasting protection that helps maintain healthy crop growth and improves crop quality and yield potential.
  • Low-toxic formulation that is safe for use in integrated pest management programs.
  • Suitable for a wide range of crops, from cotton and vegetables to pulses, oilseeds, and plantation crops.
  • Available in multiple pack sizes (100 ml to 1 litre) to suit different farm sizes and budgets.

How It Works

Multiplex Super Yodha contains Emamectin Benzoate, which belongs to the Avermectin group of insecticides. It acts as a Glutamate-gated chloride channel (GluCl) allosteric modulator under IRAC group 6. When the insect comes into contact with the product or ingests treated plant material, the active ingredient disrupts normal nerve signal transmission in the pest's body.

This disruption causes the larvae to become paralyzed and stop feeding almost immediately after exposure. Because the pest stops feeding right away, crop damage is halted quickly even before the pest dies. The affected larvae subsequently die within about 72 hours. This combination of fast feeding cessation and eventual mortality makes Super Yodha highly effective at protecting crops from ongoing pest damage.

Recommended Dosage & Application

Multiplex Super Yodha is applied as a foliar spray. The recommended dosage is simple and easy to follow:

  • 0.5 ml per litre of water
  • 8 ml per 15 litre sprayer tank
  • 80 ml per acre for spray application

Mix the required quantity of Super Yodha in the recommended volume of water and spray thoroughly on the crop, ensuring good coverage of the plant parts where pests are active, especially the undersides of leaves and growing tips.

When to Use

Multiplex Super Yodha should be used when the incidence of pest larvae is first observed in the crop. This includes larvae of bollworm, stem borer, DBM (diamondback moth), leaf folder, fruit and shoot borer, pod borer, thrips, and mites. Early application at the first sign of pest activity gives the best control and prevents the pest population from building up and causing significant damage.

Regular scouting of the crop is recommended so that spraying can be timed at the early larval stages, when pests are most vulnerable and the product is most effective. Reapply as needed based on pest pressure and crop stage, following the recommended dosage.

Step by Step Usage Instructions
