Himax Herbicide is a post-emergent, broad-spectrum weed killer from Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL), a trusted name in crop protection. Also known as Himax Spray, this non-selective herbicide delivers rapid action against grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds in crops like tea, cotton, and soybean.

Its active content, Glusofinate Ammonium 13.5 SL, targets weeds by blocking glutamine synthetase, leading to ammonia build-up and quick weed death. The herbicide is rainfast within hours, has no residual soil activity, and helps prevent the spread of glyphosate-resistant weeds.

Himax is ideal for pre-planting burndown, directed spraying in row crops, and spot treatments in non-cropped areas. Safe and effective, it minimizes the need for manual weeding and supports sustainable farming practices.
